Upcoming Sessions & Events
As well the events listed below, I run occasional sessions for groups, schools and other organisations. I'm also one of the regular facilitators at Bridport Community Shed sessions for young people (11-18yr olds) and I pop into Bridport Youth Club about once a month to do a bit of art with the juniors.

Creative Coast Club '26
Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock
19th August & 2nd September 1.30 - 3.30pm
Free, no booking required
The National Trust (North & West Dorset) are hosting the Creative Cost Club again on the beach at Burton Bradstock. There are a variety of different sessions, see poster for more info.
I will be there on Wednesday 19th August with Rowan Beecham and we will be making boats and invisible paintings!
I will be there again on Wednesday 2nd September with Clare from Thriving Wild having fun with art and nature play (we will decide what we do nearer the time so that we can work with the weather).

Oops Wow Arts Centre Take Over

Another Oops Wow gallery take-over!
We will fill the gallery with cardboard, paper and creative play.
Big hands on family making sessions – make things to get into, to play with, to wear; make things to take away and to add to the evolving installation.

Oops Wow Take Over for Grown Ups
Bridport Arts Centre
Thursday 27th August 7-9pm
£15 booking reqiured
As part of the Oops Wow gallery take-over, the grown-ups get to play too.
Starting with an expressive mark making session we will then transform our drawings into something we can get in to – a den, a cape, a cocoon, a crown…. make things to get into, to play with, to wear; make things to take away and to add to the evolving installation.
This Adult only session runs from 7pm – 9pm

Life Drawing
Tuesday evenings 6.30 - 9pm
St Michael's Estate, Bridport
£14 per session, booking essential
Generally un-tutored life drawing class in Bridport. Some support is available if you would like. Bring your own materials, however I have loads of basic stuff here that you can use as well as plenty of easels and boards.
Booking required, £14 per session. To book click on the date you want (it will take you to Paypal, you do not need to have a Paypal account to use this, just your usual bank card that you use for other online purchases)
21st July. Two week break. 11th August, 18th August. Two week break. 8th September, 15th September, 22nd September, 29th September (future dates will be added nearer the time).
If you want to book several sessions, email me ( jo@burlington.me.uk ) and I can send you my bank details, rather than having to do multiple PayPal transactions.
You can cancel and get a full refund (minus Paypal fee) up to 24hrs before the event.

Afterschool Art Club
Mondays 4 - 5.15pm

Booking essential
An opportunity for kids to follow their own ideas.
This will be a small group of approximately 8 kids who will have free reign in my studio. Each week I will introduce a new material or process for those who are interested. After a couple of weeks while they get to know the studio, we will then also come up with a longer project to work on over several weeks.
We are now on a break for the summer holidays. The group will start again on Monday 14th September 4-5.15pm.
Half termly block booking required, this block is 6 weeks, so £60.
