Upcoming Sessions & Events
As well the events listed below, I run occasional sessions for groups, schools and other organisations. I'm also one of the regular facilitators at Bridport Community Shed sessions for young people (11-18yr olds) and I pop into Bridport Youth Club about once a month to do a bit of art with the juniors.

For workshops that are happening in my studio - The Art Room, HERE is a video of how to find it. It's in St Michael's - Bridports Art & Vintage Quarter. Go through the white doors between Tina's Retro Clothing & Clocktower Records. I am on the 1st floor.
An opportunity for kids to follow their own ideas.
This will be a small group of approximately 8 kids who will have free reign in my studio. Each week I will introduce a new material or process for those who are interested. We will also do a longer project to work on over several weeks.
The next block will start on Monday 8th June. Just two spaces available at the moment. This 6 week block is £60.

Generally un-tutored life drawing class in Bridport. Some support is available if you would like. Bring your own materials, however I have loads of basic stuff here that you can use as well as plenty of easels and boards.
Booking required, £14 per session. To book click on the date you want (it will take you to Paypal, you do not need to have a Paypal account to use this, just your usual bank card that you use for other online purchases)
June 2nd, June 9th, June 16th, June 23rd, June 30th, 7th July, 14th July, 21st July.
If you want to book several sessions, email me ( jo@burlington.me.uk ) and I can send you my bank details, rather than having to do multiple PayPal transactions.
You can cancel and get a full refund (minus Paypal fee) up to 24hrs before the event.

Bridport Food Festival
Creative Young Cooks Tent
Askers Meadow, Bridport
Saturday 13th June 10 - 4pm
I'll be at this wonderful annual event again providing some art fun in the mix of the Creative Young Cooks Tent.
Alongside the infamous 'Smoothie Bike', various hands-on cookery workshops and Debbie's Play Kitchen, there will be:
FOOD FACE - collage activity (morning)
EDIBLE STILL LIFE - drawing (all day)
EVERLASTING DRAWING BANQUET - drawing (afternoon)
All activities in the Creative Young Cooks tent are free, and everyone is a volunteer. Entry to the festival is also free for those under 17y.

Draw or Be Drawn - an evolving tableau vivant
Saturday 27th June 10 - 1pm
Bridport Arts Centre Forecourt
Another free drawing event on the forecourt of the arts centre. There will be things, lots of things - props, curious and random objects, capes, gowns, hats, umbrellas, flowers and ornaments on a table, chairs that people will sit in and pose for a bit and other people will draw them. That's the plan anyway! Please come and make it so.
